To Blog or Not to Blog

Today at our Chapter meeting at Compadres Restaurant in Dayton we had a discussion of the use of the blog. Many were in agreement that notices of upcoming events, pictures of past events and information useful to our members would be okay to post. It was decided that only first names would be used and we would try to keep everyone's privacy intact!

Some examples pictures from Winnemucca follow!

Gary was giving everyone lessons on how to mount our horses for the "Cowboy Up" theme parade.
At the opening activities for the Fall Samboree Paul and Mary brought in the Spirit Flag that we shared with Pahrump Dust Devils (from our Spring Samboree)

Nancy and Max were contemplating their next move in one of the games we played in Winnemucca.

I would suggest that you look at the Swinging Sams blog to see an idea of all that could be done - though I may need to learn a few things to produce one that fancy!

Our next activity is the luncheon on Feb 26th at the Denny's in Sparks, hosted by Mike & Suzie. We also need to get in registrations for the Spring Samboree to be held in Pahrump by Feb 23rd.

I won't post much more information until we have an agreement as to how this blog will be used to benefit our members. Please do not hesitate to leave comments on the blog or email or call me directly with your ideas.
